Donetsk mayor slams Ukraine’s shelling of maternity clinic as ‘hyper-terrorism’

Alexey Kulemzin noted that Ukrainian forces had known exactly where they had been targeting

MOSCOW, June 14. /TASS/. Ukraine’s forces knew exactly what they were targeting when bombarding Donetsk last night, Alexey Kulemzin, the city’s mayor, told Rossiya 24 channel on Tuesday, branding the attack on a local maternity clinic as "hyper-terrorism.’

The attack on the Maternal and Child Health Center "needs no comment, it is super-, hyper-terrorism," said Kulemzin. "They (Ukrainian forces) knew exactly where they were targeting."

Several localities in the Donetsk People’s Republic came under intensive bombardment on Monday. Ukrainian forces fired multiple launch rocket systems and artillery guns, as well as 155 mm launchers in service with NATO countries, at the capital city of Donetsk.

One shell hit the maternity clinic, setting it on fire. All patients survived the attack, but they will have to be moved to other hospitals, as the clinic will be shut down for repairs.
