MOSCOW, June 14. /TASS/. The UN response to the intensified shelling of Donetsk by the Ukrainian armed forces was inarticulate, the West preferred to remain silent about the situation, Kremlin Aide Yury Ushakov stated.

"It is surprising, or maybe not even surprising, that the West is silent about this, there was such a rather inarticulate comment by the UN representative. He is, indeed, inarticulate and incomprehensible," Ushakov told reporters on Tuesday.

On Monday, several DPR settlements were intensively shelled by the Ukrainian military. Donetsk was subjected to massive shelling with the use of rocket and barrel artillery, as well as 155 mm caliber guns, which are used by NATO countries.
